Shipping your new Pup or Adult Dog

I have no problem shipping either pups or adults.  All animals are given a heath check by a licensed veterinarian and are accompanied by a health certificate upon shipment.  Usually the dog spends less time on the plane than going to and from its point of destination, and it is therefore a very safe and healthy trip for the animal.  However, there are a few considerations.

1.)  I will ship only out of Lansing, Michigan.  Detroit Metro is a solid two hours away; and with the travel and the time necessary to deal with an airport the size of Detroit, it takes me a full day.  IN THE RARE OCCASION that the dog "can't get there from here", and I must travel to Detroit, you must pay an additional $100.00 fee for my travel, time away from my job, etc.  This $100.00 is in addition to any cost for shipping charged by the airlines.

2.)  I will purchase a crate for you.  The crate must be prepaid.  The cost will vary, according to the size of the pup or adult you are purchasing.  Please include the price of the crate in your final payment.  No pup or adult will be shipped without the crate being paid for.  You will own the crate upon its arrival.

3.)  I will make every attempt to ship "Cash On Delivery" or C.O.D.  This is not possible for international (to Canada, Mexico or Europe) shipping.  Some carriers will not accept C.O.D. shipments.  It will depend on your location, and the carriers that fly into your airport.  If you plan on shipping your new dog or pup, you must let me know BEFORE the dog is ready to go, so that arrangements and estimated costs can be discussed.

4.)  Money for shipping should accompany your last payment, or be sent at least seven working days before the pup or adult is to be shipped.  IF you are shipping "last minute" you must pay with a cashier's check, or money order.  Personal Checks will not be accepted for shipping, unless I receive the check a full 14 days before estimated shipping date.

5.)  I will make every attempt to find the cheapest fare for your pet.  However, I want the dog or pup to fly straight through as often as possible.

Thank you for your consideration!
